7-Layer Taco Dip
INGREDIENTS
- 3 T Taco Seasoning (approximately)
- 1 Can Vegan Refried Beans (fat-free versions are generally considered vegan, but not usually labeled)
- 1 Small Container Vegan Sour Cream
- 1 Small Container Guacamole of Choice
- 8 oz Vegan Shredded Cheese
- 2 Plum Tomatoes
- 8 oz Sliced Black Olives
- 4 Stalks Diced Green Onions
- 1 Bag Tortilla Chips
Optional Substitutions
- Black Beans (15 oz) seasoned, to replace refried beans
- Avocado diced, to replace guacamole
- Chunky Salsa to replace diced plum tomatoes
Optional Additional Layers or Replacements
- Corn
- Iceberg Lettuce diced
- Sliced Jalapeno Peppers
- Vegan Queso
- Red Onion diced
- Cilantro
INSTRUCTIONS
Season Beans and Vegan Sour Cream
- In separate bowls, season vegan refried beans and vegan sour cream with taco seasoning to taste.1 Can Vegan Refried Beans, 1 Small Container Vegan Sour Cream, 3 T Taco Seasoning
Assemble Layers
- Carefully layer each ingredient, building one on top of the next in a medium glass bowl or 8x8 glass pan.
- Spread refried beans on bottom of pan, then seasoned vegan sour cream as second layer.
- Continue with the following layers1 Small Container Guacamole of Choice, 8 oz Vegan Shredded Cheese, 2 Plum Tomatoes, 8 oz Sliced Black Olives, 4 Stalks Diced Green Onions
