FAQ'S FOR THIS VEGAN COOKIE BARS RECIPE

1. Can I use a different egg substitute instead of flaxseed meal?
Yes! Chia seeds can be used in the same 1:3 ratio (1 Tbsp chia seeds + 3 Tbsp water). Just let it sit to thicken like you would with flax.

2. What brand of vegan chocolate chips works best?
Look for dairy-free brands like Enjoy Life, Trader Joe’s Semi-Sweet Chips, or Guittard 63% Chocolate Chips. Just check the label to confirm they’re vegan.

3. Can I make these cookie bars gluten-free?
Yes, you can substitute a 1:1 gluten-free all-purpose flour blend. Just be sure it contains xanthan gum or a similar binder for best results.

4. How should I store the cookie bars?
Keep them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week. They also freeze well for longer storage.
